“We have had 80000 mining analysis in the last year with 30000 samples, without monopolism.” Said the chairman of Iran Minerals Processing Research Center.
According to the Mining Investment Insurance Corporation’s public relations, quoting from IMIDRO, Majid Vafayi Fard said, pointing out that Iran Minerals Processing Research Center’s policy is to get as far as possible from monopolism, “regarding the laboratory tools and equipment in mine and mining industry, this center is ranked perhaps number one in the middle east, and among the 10 to 20 highest equipped labs in the world. One of the goals of this center, is to help and give services to the countries which are members of Economic Cooperation Organization, and there have been many training courses for mining experts and many Iranian and international professors have been invited and have given lectures during these courses. The mineralogy tests in this center is done thoroughly and with the utmost details at the moment. Having a construction workshop in the technology development department, this center is now able to transform the research achievements into technological production, and do the mining studies from the laboratory stage until semi-industrial stage.
Outsourcing 4000 Samples
“In the last year we outsourced 4000 samples through setadiran.ir system, which is under the supervision of the government, to the private section, and have ended about 150000 research projects until now. With the cooperation of the University of Tehran, we executed the paste tinker project which was later chosen as the best project in the industry and university projects by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. If the researches on mine and mining industry, which has a high cost, is not well received by the private section, we are ready to do all these researches using the tools inside the center. Our approach to the technology development is to create and build tools with the result of a technological product. A sample is made and then it would little by little enter the production circle.
