The statistics of the large mining companies show the number of 15903165 tons of iron concentrate produced from March till July 2019. This shows a 3% growth in production comparing to last year.
According to the Mining Investment Insurance Corporation’s public relations, the statistics of the mining units show that National Industrial and Mineral Development Company (related to Khouzestan Steel Company) has had the highest growth of 92% increase in production from March till July 2019, while Sabanour Company has had a huge decrease of 34%.
The statistics studied Jalal Abad Iron Ore Company, Gohar Zamin, Opal Parsian Sangan, National Industrial and Mineral Development Company, MIDHCO, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Chadormalu Iron Ore, Markazi Iron Ore Company and Sabanour from March till July 2019.
14.4 Million Tons of Pellet Production
In this report, the production of pellets reached 14403672 tons which shows a 1% decrease comparing to last year. Khorasan Steel Company had the highest growth in production with 70% increase, while Khorasan Sangan Steel Company had the lowest growth in production with only 44% increase.
The companies studied were Mobarake Steel, Khouzestan Steel, MIDHCO, Khorasan Steel, Chadormalu, Gol-Gohar, Opal Parsian Sangan, Khorasan Sangan Steel and Sabanour.
Over 1.6 Million Tons of Grained Iron Ore Production
According to this study, the grained iron ore produced from March until July 2019 was 1662958 tons that showed a 37% decrease comparing to last year. Sangan Iron Ore with a 71% decrease and Markazi Iron Ore with a 56% decrease were the main reasons behind this huge decrease of production.
The companies studied for grained iron ore production were Markazi Iron Ore, Chadormalu, Sangan, Mishdavan, Iran Central Mines Complex, Plateau (Falat) and Sabanour.
