The Blocked Mines Would Be Cleared
The Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade informed about the transference of 90% of the authority related to the country’s Mining Supreme Council to the organizations in different provinces in three month, and said: “the blocked mines would be released in 3 months and would be in hands of the Provinces for tenders.”

Alireza Razm Hoseini, in the opening ceremony of the 4th phase of Pasargad Steel Complex, mentioned that the main purpose of ‘the year of the jump in production’ is to fill the empty capable places in the industry. He said: “we have a lot of industries who do not work to their full production potentials, but there have been investments, and there have been constructed the proper infrastructures, and all they need is a little support to become their 100% in production.”

Pointing out that the steel chain is now completed in some provinces, and are getting completed in the others, Mr. Razm Hoseini talked about the filled capacities of the production units of Fars Province and said: “this will lead to new products entering the market. There would be more supplies and so a better economic growth.”

The Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade also talked about the encouragements for the suspended units which have the potential to be reactivated again and said: “Considering the current condition of the market, it is estimated that the final steel products would be exported and there wouldn’t be any sales of raw material.”

Pointing out that the decision making structure in the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade would be dependent on the participation of the private sector and people who are already active in economy sections, so that together, there would be wise and good investments regarding the market, the Minister continued: “the governors have always been claiming their rights regarding the transference of the authority, and they will have this authority in a few months.”
