With the investment of approximately 3000 billion Rials, 200 people will be employed in Hirad gold processing unit.
According to the Mining Investment Insurance Corporation's public relations, the governor of South Khorasan Province, along with Birjand's, Darmian's and Khusf's member of the Parliament, Darmian's chairman of the Organization of Industry, Mine and Trade, and Khusf's governor visited Hirad gold processing mine.
"This Province has unique mining potentials which should be represented to the investors." Said Hamid Molla Nuri, the Governor of South Khorasan Province. He also pointed out the efforts of Iran Mineral Production and Supply Co. and said: "the presence of large mining companies in the Province and whatever has been done for the infrastructures have encouraged the investors in the private sector to invest in the Province's mines. The government is also completely supporting the 'removing of any obstacles' in this section."
Amir Hushsng Motovali, the investor of Hirad mine said: "Hirad gold mine with the supply of 5 million tons of gold ore located 140 kilometers from the Province's capital city, is now active, and a processing and production unit is now being built close to the mine. The extraction of gold ore from this mine is estimated to be 100000 tons per year, and its production would be 200 kilograms of gold ingots. It is estimated that with the investment of 3000 billion Rials, the processing unit would create the employment of 200 people."
