According to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade’s statistics, there has been 902900000 dollars invested in different industrial, mining and trading projects by foreign investors from March to December 2018.
According to the Mining Investment Insurance Corporation’s public relations, quoting from IRNA, this amount of investment is related to 60 industrial, mining and trading projects which is approved by the Foreign Investments Committee.
According to this report, the same type of investment in industrial, mining and trading projects in the same period of time during 2017 was 2801200000 dollars.
In January 2019, Ahmad Jamali, the chairman of the Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, said in an interview to IRNA’s economic journalist: “The investments has been mainly in industrial sections. There has been 150 projects with directs investments, reaching up to 3.5 billion dollars from March 2018 till now, which have been approved by the Foreign Investments Committee.
