9.2 Billion Dollars of Export from the Mine Sector in 2018
According to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) more than 9.2 billion dollars’ worth of mine products and industries were exported in 2018. The Steel chain has the most export in mine chain with 4.1 billion dollars.
According to the Mining Investment Insurance Corporation’s public relations, there has been 57707000 tons of different minerals were exported from March 2018, up to March 2019, which had a decrease of 5% in weight. 
According to this report, the Steel Chain’s export has increased to 4118110000 in 2017 (up to March 2019). The export increased to 8903000 tons with a 3% growth, which ranked the 1st place in mine production and industries of the country.
In the meantime, 420250000 dollars of cement chain, 380950000 dollars of iron ore concentrate, 342130000 dollars of different ores and related products, 255810000 dollars of zinc chain, 128010000 dollars of lead chain were exported.
In the last year, 72610000 dollars of coal and coke, 55460000 dollars of chromite chain, 32940000 dollars of molybdenum chain, 11440000 dollars of earthenware, bricks, tiles and ceramics, 160000 dollars of Alumina powder and related products, 390000 dollars of titanium chain, 160000 dollars of metal and precious stones, 40000 dollars of mica, 30000 dollars of nickel and its products and also 1352640000 of other products and mine industries were exported. 
41% Decrease of Imports
During the time mentioned above, 3643000 tons mine products and industries, with the value of 3575750000 dollars were imported which shows a 41% of decrease and 34% decrease if the products value.
In 2017, more than 1288490000 dollars of steel chain products, 17420000 dollars of copper and downstream products, 217630000 dollars of aluminum chain and its products and 202230000 dollars of coal and coke were imported into the country.
Before this, Mr. Khodada Gharibpur, the vice president of the ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade had mentioned that the Mine section had a 21% share of all the non-oil exports and passed the 8.2 billion dollars.
