IMIDRO’s chairman sent out a message, along with his congratulations to all the people active in Industry and Mine, for the National Day of Industry and Mine.
According to the Mining Investment Insurance
Corporation’s public relations, Vajih-O-Allah Jafari sent out a message, along
with his congratulations to all the people active in Industry and Mine, for the
National Day of Industry and Mine. This is the message:
“The honoring ceremony of the National Day of
Industry and Mine is a sign of solidarity between the private section and the
government. It is an opportunity to review the achievements, while putting our
thoughts together to improve the economy. It is obvious that strengthening this
bond will pave the way towards the industry’s bigger plans. This can be
analyzed from two perspectives:
The first one is ‘removing the obstacles of
production’ which is the basic need of the active private section in today’s economic
system. The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, along with IMIDRO at its
side, is responsible for the public rights in the path towards development, and
will do its best in order to achieve that.
For examples, in the projects regarding the investments
and encouraging the private section, IMIDRO provides for infrastructures such
as water, roads, railroads and electricity, in accordance with development
policies, and the professional workgroups of the organization are solving the
problems in these parts.
The second matter is about using the potential of
the country’s young people and domestic production. Iranian specialists have
done great in repairing, preserving and producing domestic tools and machinery
parts during these previous months, and now, which the country is going through
such sanctions. Saving 617 million dollars from executing domestication policy
making by large mining companies is the proof that IMIDRO can use domestic
potentials.
Iranian
Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization, in the
year of ‘production: supporting and removing the obstacles’, is executing its
projects through ‘development’ and ‘empowerment’,
among which are the development programs in infrastructures, discoveries,
supporting small mines, starting the projects, financial facilities, granting
facilities to miners, domestic production, education and research, and leading
the subsidiary companies with focusing on the participation of the private
section and creating employment.
I am honored to announce, in this National Day,
that 1.9 billion dollars’ worth of projects are going to be started by IMIDRO
this year, with the help of the subsidiary companies, which will create the
direct employment of more than 5000 people.
Obviously, starting these projects wouldn’t have
been possible without the participation of the private section, and I hope
celebrating this day would increase the cooperation between different economic
pillars of the country with the outlook of ‘development’.”
